Spellfire Magic Wand
“One man’s magic is another man’s engineering. Supernatural is a null word.” ~ Robert A. Heinlein
A fun particle effect toy produced through a collaboration of some of my favorite people, the Spellfire Magic Wand is presented from Trav Rexen’s Script Shanty, Sax Sheperd Designs, and Thirty Loop Animations (all of which just happen to be stores on my Seven Veils SIM).
Before you even start I know I did everything WRONG in the video. I babbled incoherently, I didn’t turn off my interface or my friend notifications and I used my *gasp* camera controls.
I will write on the chalkboard 300 times if it makes you happy.

Outfit details? I know the shoes are from Duh. Yes yes we HAVE to know about the clothes every time.
Capturing video is always annoying for me…ffmpeg devs keep changing things. And stop using your camera controls. Write, I will learn the keyboard shortcuts for the camera controls, 300 times.
Commented by CronoCloud Creeggan on January 13, 2012 at 9:50 AMYou know, it’s funny. In MMOs or Minecraft or any game I use keyboard controls / mouse controls to move the camera. In SL I just can’t. It makes no logical sense, but I’m tired of trying to retrain myself.
The outfit is from Yabusaka (Yabusaka Loon). It’s only L$200 and intended to be worn with the mesh avatar doll for sale there. A friend just made our own alpha and passed it to me so we can wear the outfit without the need for a doll. I don’t want to wear a doll base to enjoy pretty clothes. I’m working on doing the same for Coco Doll dresses I like.
And, yes, the shoes are from DUH, although the Mary Janes from HOC Industries work really well too. Using shoes with the outfit is tricky because the mesh tights don’t cover the feet entirely.
