Meat Fail

One of my favorite short stories ever written is They’re Made Out of Meat by Terry Bisson (link here since Terry’s blog appears to be down for a bit). Today I was semi-excited because I found out that there was a short film posted on Atom based on the story and I thought – how could it not be faboo? (Okay, so the video was posted in 2006 – but I haven’t been to Atom in at least 5 years, or whenever the last installment of Joe’s Superfly was posted — I’m catching up).
The story is entirely dialog based and even a mildly creative delivery performance by so much as a marginal pair of actors would at least maintain the humor of the exchange. Right? Right? RIGHT?
Turns out not so much.
